Thank you for your interest in or support of the Loveland Therapy Fund. We truly value the opportunity to support you. Below are FAQs for prospective or current recipients and therapists.

FAQ for Interested or Current Therapy Fund Recipients

Each recipient is eligible for 12 total vouchers, distributed in sets of 4. Recipients may request additional vouchers via the 2023 closeout form. The maximum number of vouchers is unanimous for everyone, regardless of what year they first received vouchers. Participants from previous years are not eligible for reapplication.

Each voucher covers up to $120 of service costs. If applicable, recipients are responsible for any balance remaining.

Vouchers can be split across two sessions if the cost of an individual therapy session is less than or equal to $60. Multiple vouchers cannot be combined to cover a single session and left over funds from one voucher do not roll over to the next.

Vouchers are sent out via email within 3 to 4 weeks of completing the sign-up/intake form via our website. After use of the initial 4 vouchers, participants may request additional vouchers (up to 12) using the 2023 closeout form.

Vouchers can be used with any licensed therapist in the United States that chooses to accept them and if a therapist does not accept them we do offer direct reimbursement to all recipients of Loveland Vouchers. We can provide directories as a resource when looking for a therapist, however please note we do not provide therapists and/or schedule sessions on recipients’ behalf.  Clinicians under the supervision of a licensed therapist can accept vouchers as long as the client is aware that the therapist is in the process of obtaining their license. During invoice submission, please include the name and license number or NPI number of the supervisor.

Yes, voucher recipients can submit an invoice for their therapy session with proof of payment in order to be reimbursed directly by The Loveland Foundation.

Once you receive your Loveland vouchers it is time to schedule your first appointment with a therapist. Before scheduling an appointment with a therapist make sure:

  1. The therapist accepts Loveland vouchers (are willing to invoice us directly for your sessions).
  2. Share our deck overview with them which will be sent along with the vouchers in an email. This deck will address most questions therapists have about the Therapy Fund and invoicing process.
  3. After you have your therapy session, provide your therapist with the voucher number and the invoice payment form (sent in the voucher email).
  4. Once your therapist submits the voucher we begin to process the invoice. Repeat this process until all vouchers have been used.

Finding a therapist is like dating. Sometimes it’s not a perfect match, so not all vouchers in a set have to be used with the same licensed therapist. If one licensed therapist does not work out feel free to use the remaining vouchers with a different one.

Once a participant has completed the use of their 4th voucher they will receive a closeout form. In that form, recipients can give us feedback about the voucher process and request additional vouchers. This process needs to be completed twice for a total of 12 vouchers.

We do not accept third-party sign-ups.

Prospective Therapy Fund recipients must sign themselves up for support via our website.

Due to the high volume of applicants, Therapy Fund application processing and voucher assignment takes us a few weeks. Therefore we do not advise referring loved ones or friends who need immediate funds to pay for therapy. All potential recipients must sign themselves up for vouchers through our website. We do not accept third-party sign-ups.
