FAQ for Interested or Current Therapy Fund Recipients
As of 2021 each participant is eligible to receive 12 total vouchers. We distribute vouchers in sets of 4. Participants may request additional vouchers via the closeout form, detailed below. Additionally, participants who have received vouchers in previous years are not eligible for reapplication at this time.
Traditional vouchers are worth up to $120 each. Talkspace gift card codes are worth 3 months of Therapy on the Talkspace platform.
Vouchers can be split across multiple sessions if the cost of an individual therapy session is less than or equal to $60. Multiple vouchers cannot be combined to cover a single session and left over funds from one voucher do not roll over to the next.
Vouchers are sent out via email within 3 to 4 weeks of completing the sign-up/ intake form via our website. After use of the initial 4 vouchers, participants may request additional vouchers (up to 12) using the closeout form detailed below.

While at Loveland we do not provide therapists or schedule participant therapy sessions, we do provide directories that can be used as a resource to find a therapist. Vouchers can be used with any therapist in the United States that chooses to accept them and if a therapist does not accept them we do offer direct reimbursement to all recipients of Loveland Vouchers.
Individuals that are under the supervision of a licensed therapist can accept vouchers as long as the client is aware that the therapist is in the process of obtaining their license. During invoice submission, please include the name and license number or NPI number of the supervisor.
Yes, voucher recipients can submit an invoice for their therapy session with proof of payment in order to be reimbursed directly by The Loveland Foundation.
Once you receive your Loveland vouchers it is time to schedule your first appointment with a therapist. Before scheduling an appointment with a therapist make sure:
- The therapist accepts Loveland vouchers (are willing to invoice us directly for your sessions).
- Share our deck overview with them which will be sent along with the vouchers in an email. This deck will address most questions therapists have about the Therapy Fund and invoicing process.
- After you have your therapy session, provide your therapist with the voucher number and the invoice payment form (sent in the voucher email).
- Once your therapist submits the voucher we begin to process the invoice. Repeat this process until all vouchers have been used.
Finding a therapist is like dating. Sometimes it’s not a perfect match, so not all vouchers in a set have to be used with the same therapist. If one therapist does not work out feel free to use the remaining vouchers with someone else.
Once a participant has completed the use of their 4th voucher they will receive a closeout form. In that form, recipients can give us feedback about the voucher process and request additional vouchers. This process can be completed twice for a total of 12 vouchers.
Prospective Therapy Fund recipients can sign themselves up for support via our website. We do not accept third-party sign-ups.
Due to the high volume of applicants, Therapy Fund application processing and voucher assignment takes us a few weeks. Therefore we do not advise referring loved ones or friends who need immediate funds to pay for therapy. All potential recipients must sign themselves up for vouchers through our website. We do not accept third-party sign-ups.

To receive vouchers a recipient must fill out the sign up/ Intake form via our website. If approved each participant will receive 4 vouchers to start and are eligible for 12 total vouchers. The vouchers are sent to the recipient via email along with a deck overview fully explaining the voucher process and payment request form to be submitted by the provider. Each voucher is worth up to $120.. The participant gives the deck which contains the payment request form to their therapy provider. After the session the provider then submits the invoice through the form with the voucher number. Once processed the provider is paid directly by The Loveland Foundation.
Invoices are processed on the 1st and 15th of each month. An invoice must be submitted 5 days prior to the processing day in order to guarantee that it will be processed on that processing day. For example, if you submit an invoice on the 10th of the month it will be processed on the 15th. If you submit an invoice on the 11th it might not be processed until the 1st of the following month.
